Our Journey

From our inception as Elos Institute NL to our current existence as SH!FT Foundation, we have worked to create more equity and inclusion upheld by creating spaces of belong where diversity is not only welcomed but honoured and celebrated. In short we believe that everyone and everything is connected. To navigate towards a sustainable & resilient future we work to grow awareness about the complexity and interconnectedness of the world as a system where ascribing humanity to one another is a road map to act accordingly and justly. Co-creating action from a collective understanding SH!FT aims to contribute to this by supporting individuals, teams, communities and organisations to navigate and transition towards a more sustainable and resilient future.

Through non-formal, learning-by-doing education experiences and coaching we give participants of our programs a unique experiential learning environment and a set of skills that we see as vital to a type of leadership needed in all levels of society. Skills include appreciative inquiry, collaboration and co-creation methods, dialoguing, storytelling, personal assessments, understanding of (social) processes, facilitation coaching and entrepreneurship.

Founded at the closing of 2019, SH!FT brings together over 20 years of collective experience between our core navigators in designing and facilitating paradigm shifts and awareness based action in both community and organisation contexts around the world.

Elos Foundation was the spark that ignited the SH!FT’s beginnings with GoDeep in 2015. Since then we have been facilitating processes of transformation and education on community & organisational levels.
